I’m a Celebrity: Harry Redknapp’s best moments in the show after he’s crowned the winner
Harry Redknapp is officially the King of the Jungle. The veteran footie boss, who counts Birmingham, Tottenham, QPR and West Ham among his former clubs, was crowned winner of this year’sI’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Hereon Sunday night.Redknapp beat Inbetweeners star Emily Atack and actor John Barrowman – who finished second and third respectively. It’s by no means Harry’s greatest achievement (winning the FA Cup in 2008 immediately springs to mind) but one that should be celebrated nonetheless. Here, we take a look back at some of his many highlights from his three weeks in the Australian jungle.

Bushtucker trial with Noel Edmonds

Although Harry took part in a trial on the first day with all the campmates by leaning out of a car window (you couldn’t make it up), his first proper Bushtucker trial saw him do one alongside TV star Noel Edmonds. The pair formed a cute friendship in camp and Harry and Noel worked together to secure all eleven stars. It was a brilliant effort from Harry in particular as he was forced to chow down on the likes of sheep’s brain and fish eyes. But the best moment of the trial saw Harry shout ‘yabba dabba do’ while Noel was forced to chew a Yabby – sending his campmates in stitches!

‘Peng ting called Sandra’

Not many had Harry down as a singer but this didn’t stop him from belting out a couple of tunes. And then he teamed up with fellow camp-mate and singer Fleur East to come up with a song in honour of his darling wife Sandra. It was then decided the song would be titled ‘Peng ting called Sandra’. To be called ‘peng’ is another word for attractive essentially. But Harry claimed if he sung that tune his wife would think he was saying ‘painting’ rather than peng ting!

Harry gets his jam roly-poly!

Early on into his time in the jungle, Harry shared with the camp his love for jam roly-polies by announcing “oh what I would give for a f****** jam roly-poly.”However, a few days later his dreams came true as the camp-mates were treated to a jungle feast.Below you can see the moment which he says was his favourite part of his time in the jungle!

Harry does karaoke his way

More singing from Harry but this time he took on Frank Sinatra’s classicMy Way and it went down a treat with the celebs and the viewers. This was probably one of the most enjoyable episodes to watch in the series as Harry and his campmates had a night at ‘The Jungle Arms’ – a make-shift pub created on the site.Fleur even said it was one of the best nights of her life, never mind on the show.

Reunited with Sandra

And finally, the moment that made thenation weep! All the celebrities had their nearest and dearest visit them on Friday night’s episode and it was emotions all round but Harry being reunited with Sandra stole the show.Harry mentioned a couple of times just how much his wife meant to him on the show but this truly captured his love for the woman he’s been with for 54 years.
