Liverpool fans came so close to seeing their team lift a top-flight title for the first time in 29 years

Despite being seven points clear at the top of the league at Christmas, Liverpools 29-year wait for a top-flight title goes on.Naturally, fans of Merseyside rivals Everton lapped it up after watching their side end the season with a 2-2 draw at Tottenham, singing You lost the league at Goodison Park in reference to their goalless draw with Jurgen Klopps side in March.
