However, Allegri has downplayed suggestions he could depart Italy in the summer, as he appears ready to see through his existing contract.Speaking in a press conference, Allegri said: “I still have a year and a half on my contract. I’m fine here and we’re doing important things.”Other favourites to become Manchester United’s next permanent manager include Zinedine Zidane, the former Real Madrid coach, ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, and Mauricio Pochettino of Tottenham.
