Liverpool, Man City and Tottenham Hotspur fixtures: Which team has the easier run-in for the Premier League title?
The Premier League title race is hotting up with 13 games left to go and just five points separating the top three sides.A month ago, Liverpool had a seven-point lead over rivals Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur were nine points behind. The Reds have slipped up in their last two games and taken just a point from each and could have maintained that advantage.Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp’s sides are vying for the title3

This has allowed both Spurs and City to regain ground over the Merseyside club. There is still a long way to go but that all important run-in will play a factor as we enter the final stages of the season. All three are still in the Champions League and vying to make the latter stages.Pep Guardiolas side, though, have the Carabao Cup final to play and are still in the FA Cup.Jurgen Klopps sides final six games of the season are against Southampton (16th), Chelsea (4th), Cardiff (18th), Huddersfield (20th), Newcastle (15th) and Wolves (7th).Sergio Aguero scored against Liverpool in their meeting earlier in the season3

On paper, there are plenty of winnable games against relegation threatened sides but there is potential to slip up against easy opponents.Meanwhile, Pep Guardiolas team faces Cardiff (18th), Crystal Palace (14th), Tottenham (3rd), Burnley (17th), Leicester (11th) and Brighton (13th) in their final six games.Mauricio Pochettinos side face Brighton (13th), Huddersfield (20th), Man City (2nd), West Ham (12th), Bournemouth (10th) and Everton (9th).According to Soccerstats.com, Liverpools final 13 opponents have an average of 1.34 points per game, Citys have 1.48 while Spurs have 1.43.

Verdict

Liverpools run-in seems the slightly easier of the three and they hold the current advantage. Their opponents have a lower points per game average and they have seven of their 13 at home whereas City only have six.Meanwhile, Manchester City’s participation in both domestic cup competitions could increase the likeliness of a fixture pile-up.Spurs still have to play both City and Liverpool in their run-in, which could make or break their title challenge. They could have an advantage if they do finally get into their new stadium for the final four or five home games.
